Yes, the same familiar LifeStraw technology for water purification. Additionally, this 2-stage version has an activated carbon cartridge. LifeStraw filters are able to filter 1000 liters of water during their life cycle. An activated carbon filter that improves the taste of water and reduces chlorine and odout, filters up to 100 liters. The active carbon cartridge can be purchased separately so that you do not have to change the entire system when activated carbon is at the end of it’s life cycle.
