The Origin Outdoors Klondike water filter, can remove 99.9999% of protozoa, spores, bacteria and sediment. Filtration is performed with a klondike double ceramic filter with a filtration element of 0.1 microns. Klondike also filters possible heavy metal ions from the water.
Here’s how to use the Klondike: place the input hose in to the water source and the output hose in to the container where you want to collect the clean water. Keep the filter upright and pump the handle. You get about 800ml of drinkable water every minute pumped. The Klondike water purifier weighs only about 300g, making this an ideal for camping and hiking. The Klondike comes in a durable carrying case that you can hang on your rucksack.
